Georgia nurses endorse Senator Tim Golden
July 17, 2006 -- Atlanta, GA -- State Sen. Tim Golden (D-Valdosta) has received the endorsement of the Political Action Committee of the Georgia Nurses Association (GNPAC) in his candidacy for re-election to Senate
District 8.
Demetrius Mazacoufa, spokesman for the Georgia Nurses Association, said in a written statement, “The Georgia Nurses Association (GNPAC) is pleased to endorse (Senator Golden) in his bid to return to the Georgia Senate. (Senator Golden’s) many years of strong, effective service in advancing quality and accessible healthcare for the people of his district and the other citizens of the state are proud reminders of what we can do when we choose to serve others. Your support of these kinds of issues important to nurses and the nursing community commends your candidacy.”
