2009 legislative session: what passed, what failed

Session ends with no transportation funding plan
ATLANTA, April 6, 2009 - In the final week of the 2009 session of the Georgia General Assembly, lawmakers approved an $18.6 billion budget for fiscal year 2010 and passed a package of tax cuts designed to spur the economy.
